Real Housewives of Orange County starts Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge were hospitalized after a four-wheeler sand dune ride in California took a tragic turn, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Police say the events occurred at approximately 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, when the stars' Polaris RZR rolled multiple times over the dunes. Tamra was reportedly driving.
Lucky for them, the RHOC camera crew was filming at the time, and was able to call for help.
According to reports, Gunvalson was even airlifted from the site! The 54-year-old was released early Sunday morning with no major injuries, while Judge was released on Saturday.
"So many texts, tweets and phone calls asking if the reports are true. I can confirm it is," Judge confirmed the news in a Facebook post. "Thank you for your prayers and concerns. We are both beat up but very lucky to be alive. I've never been so scared in my life. As the driver I have an overwhelming amount of guilt and just happy that the 4 of us are alive."
Later, Gunvalson weighed in on the matter, posting a photo of her rescuers with the caption: "Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. #itwasntourtime @tamrajudge , @heatherdubrow."
Meanwhile, sources say the airlift transport was purely out of caution, and neither Judge nor Gunvalson were in severe danger.
