Authorities have made another arrest in Delphi, Indiana, as they search for the man responsible for the deaths of two teen girls, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
Liberty German and Abby Williams were found dead in a wooded area on February after going for a hike. Miraculously, German caught the man who is the "primary suspect" in her murder on her camera phone, but the police told RadarOnline.com that the Snapchat stranger is NOT the man recently taken into custody.
Ronald Logan was arrested in Delphi, sparking hopes the case would be closed at last, but Sgt. Tony Slocum told RadarOnline.com that Logan had nothing to do with "the murders of Libby and Abby."
Slocum explained to RadarOnline.com why the man, whom many had hoped was connected to the Snapchat killer, was detained: "I believe he was arrested for a parole or probation violation," the Sergeant said.
While tips continue to pour in with information about Williams and German's death, no one had been apprehended for the crime that State Police Superintendent Doug Carter described as a brutal killing.
Police previously released a chilling audio tape captured by German with the suspect saying "down the hill," in the hopes that his voice would be recognized.
Authorities told RadarOnline.com that they also have a video of the man that German took, but that they are not yet releasing it to the public.
Mike Patty, German's grandfather, said he believes the murderer will find justice.
"He's someone's neighbor, coworker, family member, friend, husband or acquaintance," he said about the suspect. "Somebody knows something."
