Back Together? Sean Penn & His 'Soulmate' Robin Wright Penn 'Talking Every Day'

Robin Wright Penn has reportedly called off her engagement to Ben Foster again — but could her ex-husband Sean Penn be the reason?

RadarOnline.com has learned that the 49-year-old actress and Sean, 55, have been secretly communicating since Robin's plans to remarry got scuttled.

"All their friends and family are going to go into meltdown if they get back together again, but Sean and Robin are talking every day right now," an insider tells Radar.

"They're both going through heartbreaks and they're leaning on each other for support," continues the source. "It's very clear he's making a bid to win her back."

While "Sean does this every time she and Ben have a big bustup," the source believes it's "likely" that Robin and her former fiancé will reconcile.

Still, Sean, who recently broke up with Charlize Theron, 40, is pining for Robin and loves being back in touch with her.

"She was always Sean's soulmate and he says that's why they clashed so much," the insider tells Radar. "She gets him like no one else."
