Michael Phelps Says He's Expecting First Child With Fiancee

Michael Phelps Wednesday announced he's expecting his first child with fiancee Nicole Johnson, nearly a year after the athlete's transsexual scandal with Taylor Lianne Chandler.
The Baltimore native, 30, let the cat out of the bag on his Instagram account, showing a pic of the happy parents-to-be posed together.
"We found out 8 weeks ago we were expecting," the Olympian said. "Today we're over 12 weeks and it looks like we're having a boy!!! #babymp #mp #lifeabouttochange #mpswim ? @djnolan5."

As we previously reported, Chandler — who was born intersex under the name "David Roy Fitch" — emerged forward to reveal to RadarOnline.com her affair with the hunky swimming star last year, criticizing him for not supporting her as the scandal broke.
The hubbub, however, didn't drive Johnson, a one-time Miss California USA, from his arms, and it looks like the two have an extra reason to celebrate this holiday season.
