Mariah & James Packer At Breaking Point! Inside The Desperate Trip To Save Their Love

Mariah Carey was spotted walking the shores of Mykonos in a flowing white gown on September 22. But it wasn't for her long-planned Mediterranean wedding. RadarOnline.com has learned that the singer and billionaire boyfriend James Packer jetted off on the getaway in a desperate attempt to save their relationship!

Insiders told RadarOnline.com that the once hot-and-heavy couple are perilously close to a breakup.

"The trip was a last-ditch effort to save their romance," a source close to the couple said. "They're struggling."

The couple first started dating in summer 2015, and Packer popped the question back on January 21, with a 35-carat diamond engagement ring that Carey, 46, was only too happy to add to her jewelry collection.

But as RadarOnline.com reported, this summer was a rocky one for the couple.

Carey's divorce from Nick Cannon continues to drag on nearly two years later, and insiders told RadarOnline.com that her engagement to Packer, 48, felt the strain.

The source explained, "James really wants her divorce to be finalized."

At the same time, sources told RadarOnline.com, Carey's diva behavior had become "just ridiculous during filming for her upcoming E! reality show.

Said the source, "James does not want to be on her TV show, and it's a sticking point. For now, the wedding is off, and they might break up altogether."

Packer, a businessman and philanthropist, is worth more than $4 billion. Carey, meanwhile, just set the final dates for her Las Vegas residency for spring 2017.
