Forget Kanye West and Taylor Swift, the music industry has a hot new feud.

In a new interview, Elton John slammed Janet Jackson for lip-syncing in her performances.

"You know, bleeping music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson, saying, 'This is the greatest show — 4 ¹/₂ stars.' It's bleeping lip-synced! Hello!...I'd rather go and see a drag queen. Bleep off," John told Rolling Stone.

It's not the first time John, 68, went after an iconic diva. In 2004, he attacked Madonna after she was nominated for the best live act at the Q Awards.

"Madonna, best live act? Bleep off! Since when has lip-syncing been live?" he said. "I think everyone who lip-syncs onstage in public when you pay, like, 75 quid to see them should be shot. Thank you very much."

He later apologized for the rant.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jackson was forced to postpone her Unbreakable World Tour due to a scary health crisis.
