Have no fear, Real Housewives of Orange County fans: After a lackluster season, Bravo is taking extreme action to make sure that when the show returns in April, it will be bigger and better than ever! To that end, RadarOnline.com has learned, producers have hired two new housewives with shady pasts.

“The two new housewives are Meghan King Edmonds, who is married to baseball player Jim Edmonds, and Katie Chadwick Hamilton, wife of baseball player Josh Hamilton,” an insider close to production told RadarOnline.com.

Bravo has yet to announce who will be returning or joining the cast in Season 10.

But according to sources, at least one of them should already be familiar to viewers. Edmonds attended last year’s infamous hoedown party hosted by Heather Dubrow.

“Meghan was present, and she was a bit flirtatious with Shannon Beador’s husband, David, which did not please Shannon one bit,” the source revealed.

Could this be why Bravo brought her on? “Absolutely!” the source said.

As for Chadwick Hamilton, her family has a rocky past that will come to light — perhaps even before the show airs, the source hinted. In the meantime, Bravo honchos are pleased with their decision.

“So far, the ladies seem to be great additions to the cast, and are definitely fitting in with the majority of the women,” the source dished.

It should come as no surprise to fans of the show that Bravo is always looking to stir the Orange County pot, as they reportedly used threatening tactics to ensure 52-year-old housewife Vicki Gunvalson would film scenes with her on-off boyfriend Brooks Ayers.

The source also confirmed that Jeana Keough, the 59-year-old original cast member, has filmed for next season as well, as RadarOnline.com reported.

While it is early on in filming, Bravo likely will have lots to capture in the drama department, considering Gunvalson’s lawsuit with Robert Williamson III is still underway. The lawsuit revolves around Gunvalson’s failed “Vicki’s Vodka” brand. In good news for her, though, Williamson’s lawyer recently quit working with him, which will make it harder for him to win the case.
