At 640 pounds, Pauline Potter was already a big woman when she and husband, Alex, divorced three years ago, but since then she's eaten her way into the record books to be crowned the World's Heaviest Woman, and now her skinny ex wants her back!

The real life Jack Sprat can't resist his 700 pound-plus former bride from Sacramento, California, especially now that she's bigger than ever.

"It was the biggest mistake of my life letting Pauline go and it has taken her gaining weight and becoming the world's heaviest woman to make me realise how much I still love her," said Alex, who hits the scale at just 140 pounds, reported The Sun newspaper.

"Plus I miss our sex life. Pauline could be 980 pounds and we'd still have sex every single day because it's that good.

"I'm desperate to be her lover and caretaker again," he pledged.

Despite her record-breaking size, Alex said his wife is a force to be reckoned with in the bedroom and the mis-matched couple have sex up to six times a day.

"Even though one of Pauline's legs weighs more than I do, we're able to position her body to make sex enjoyable for both of us," explained her hubby, and even the risk of death doesn't stop their X-rated acrobatics.

"It's really dangerous for us to have sex because at any moment the bed could collapse and one or both of us could be seriously injured or even killed from the impact."

Pauline claims that being a former gymnast keeps her limber, but she's still amazed that piling on the pounds brought her ex back.

"Most women think losing weight is the way to get their ex's attention — but for me it was just the opposite," said Potter.

"Becoming the heaviest woman in the world is what made him fall in love with me all over again and we're now working on getting our relationship back on track."

The couple first met in 2002 when Alex accidentally e-mailed Pauline, 47, and sparks flew between their in-boxes. They were married in 2005 but problems arose between Alex's son, Sherman, and his new step-mom.

She ended up moving out with her son, Dillon, who has been helping to care, feed and clothe her. Alex began dating again, but Pauline simply ate and ate, consuming 10,000 calories a day in burgers, milkshakes and biscuits.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, she became so concerned about her expanding waistline that she pleaded with Dr. Drew Pinsky for help.

"I knew it'd be degrading," she said, "but it was the risk that I wanted to take to get my story out there so I could get some weight loss help.

Now that love is back in the air, Pauline is determined to lose weight so that she can live a full life with Alex.

"My goal is to lose 200 pounds plus and have weight-loss surgery so I can be mobile again and not rely on anyone for help.

"It's always been our dream to have a little girl — but given my age and my weight we need to start trying soon if it's ever going to happen."
