PHOTOS: Mel Gibson Steps Out For Son's Birthday; Oksana To Dish The Dirt

On the night before his ex Oksana Grigorieva goes on national TV to dish the dirt on their rocky relationship, a casual looking Mel Gibson stepped out in Hollywood to attend a 20th birthday party for his son Milo, and RadarOnline.com has the new photo of the controversial Mad Max star.

The Oscar winning director/actor joined in the celebration at Musso and Franks restaurant in Hollywood Tuesday night, before the party moved to Premiere nightclub in nearby West Hollywood.

Gibson has seven children with ex-wife Robyn (Hannah, twins Edward & Christian, William, Louis, Milo, and Thomas ) and an eighth child, one-year-old Lucia with former love Oksana.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Oksana will appear Wednesday on Larry King Live to give her first in depth TV interview on her whirlwind romance and subsequent bitter break-up with Gibson.

During the interview - which was taped over this weekend -  Oksana admits that staying with Gibson for as long as she did “was a mistake.”

Oksana - who claims Gibson was both verbally and physically abusive towards her - told King: “I stayed a little bit too long. But, again, I immediately left..."

She also recounted the emotional moment he asked her to take him back. "I gave him the last chance.  He asked me for the last chance. He begged. He cried. He cried on his knees. What am I supposed to do?" she told King.

When asked why she recorded a conversation she had with Gibson, Grigorieva explained she did so out of fear for her life. "I started taping it around 11 o'clock because I thought, 'I'm actually not going to live through the night. I'm actually not going to live through the night...’
