Lindsay Lohan Wins Appeal; To Be Released From Jail

UPDATE 9.39PM PT: Lindsay Lohan has posted the $300,000 bail set by Judge Patricia Schnegg when she overturned an earlier decision to jail the actress, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

We're told the troubled star is set for release soon -- once the necessary paperwork is finalized.

Lindsay Lohan is a free woman -- for now.

RadarOnline.com has learned the troubled starlet has been granted bail on appeal.

As we were first to report, Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley filed the appeal Friday after Judge Elden Fox shot down a plea for bail at an in-chambers meeting earlier in the day.

The appeal was filed with the appellate branch of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Lohan will next face court at a probation violation hearing on October 22.
