Bobbi Kristina Brown's one-time partner Nick Gordon was formally served with a long-awaited $10 million lawsuit at a Longwood, Fla. Starbucks on Sunday.

The incident unfolded when a cagey process server placed a manila envelope containing the legal docs into Gordon's hands, the NY Daily News reported.

The embattled Gordon told an onlooker he had "no idea" what the exchange was, then settled down and focused on his phone.

The 25-year-old, in the suit, is accused of physically and financially abusing the ailing daughter of Whitney Houston, who remains in the care of an Atlanta-area hospice.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Brown's conservator Bedelia Hargrove filed the bombshell suit in Fulton County, Ga. June 24, claiming the embattled Gordon had intentionally inflicted emotional distress, battery and assault on the 22-year-old, all while siphoning more than $11,000 from her bank account without permission.
