Howard Stern has apologized for insulting Wendy Williams on air, and now, the show host is expressing her love for the radio mogul.
On her segment this Monday, May 13, Williams, 54, put up a photo of Stern, 65, on the screen, and spoke openly about their bizarre feud, even gushing about his talents!
“Howard, I read the article of you on the front of the Hollywood reporter and I saw that you mentioned me and that you apologized. Howard, you know what, if you never apologize to me ever in your life, you would still be one of the most influential people shaping my career,” she said.
The audience clapped as Williams took the high road.
“He went on the air and ripped me a new one for no damn reason,” she explained to her fans, adding that Stern deleted his rant about Williams from his show archives so no one can ever listen to it again.
RadarOnline.com readers know that this March, Stern ripped Williams, saying she’ll never be as talented or successful as him.
“Jealous b***h,” he said at the time. “You are nobody to me. You’ll never be me. You’ll never be me. You can pretend to be me, you can pretend to be like me, but you’re not.”
It all started when Williams called Stern too “Hollywood.” The radio did not take the joke well, and inset went on a wild rant about Williams, saying she should focus on her cheating husband and on her “mysterious illness” rather than on him.
“What a c**t. What a f**king bug-eyed c**t. F**k you. You heard me, f**k off, c**t!” he said. “The last time I had her in here, she was giving me some real attitude about this Hollywood crap. You have those big fake tits and I’m Hollywood? Shut the f**k up. C**t.”
Despite the harsh words, it seems Williams has let their feud go. On her latest show segment, she told her audience she was relieved Stern finally apologized.
“I love him and my heart was so broken when he was fighting with me,” she said.
