Wendy Williams is still finalizing her divorce from cheating husband Kevin Hunter, but the show host is already living her best life as an “almost single” woman and dating around!
On her May 14 show, Williams, 54, said she’s not trying to erase her marriage with Hunter — whom she wed in 1997 — but she is moving on.
"You don't just throw away 25 years lock stock and barrel,” said the star before dropping her bombshell.
Williams started off the segment by addressing a rumor she read online stating that she was dating a handsome man. On the screen, she showed the photo of that man, and laughing, informed the audience that his name is Webb, and he’s actually part of her security team — not her boyfriend.
“I am working on my divorce, pleasantly, right now,” she said. “I am a single woman running around New York.”
The audience applauded her as she explained how her life has changed since she dumped Hunter for being unfaithful.
“I will tell you this, we do have our son. And he is away in college. He's home right now, if you are wondering why I'm hanging out so much of him. He's home for college break. He sees me, he sees his dad,” said Williams, adding that while they will always be a family, she’s enjoying being on her own.
Speaking to her show audience, Williams described herself as “a mature almost single woman,” adding that she goes out “a lot because I'm a good time girl. I like to have fun.”
RadarOnline.com readers know Williams recently moved out of a sober house she was living in to combat her ongoing drug addiction, and back into her home. She has not spoken of her sobriety since news broke of her divorce filing form Hunter, who allegedly welcomed a love child with his mistress Sharina Hudson.
“I'm right now a young and pretty New York City girl,” she told her crowd of cheering fans. “I have the ultimate bachelorette pad, high atop everything.”
“You go, girl!” fans yelled.
“I have a really, really good view and I'm really reclaiming my life,” she continued, adding that she’s still opening boxes.
While Hunter publicly apologized to his famous wife following the scandal, sources told RadarOnline.com she has no intention of taking him back. On a recent show segment, she even slammed unfaithful husbands and said women who go for married men have a “hot place in hell!”
On her Tuesday show, newly-single Williams said that she’s been seeing some handsome men and will continue to do so.
“I don't have a boyfriend, but I must admit I am rediscovering my love of men,” she said. “And, you know transparency — I do date. I date pretty often.”
She then revealed that some male staffers, like Webb, have also been to her bachelorette pad, but they’re not her boyfriends.
“And the parade of men will continue!” she yelled. “Because I need things lifted, I need things put into position.”
