'Vanderpump Rules' Star Lala Kent Gets Engaged To Much Older Beau!
Lala Kent just got engaged to producer Randall Emmett.
The Vanderpump Rules star confirmed the news to PEOPLE.
Kent's boyfriend, 46, popped the question during a romantic trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they also celebrated her 28th birthday at the Esperanza An Auberge Resort. Emmett is 18 years older than the TV star.
Kent has previously had to defend her controversial relationship with Lone Survivor producer Emmett, a divorced dad of two who was still married when they met.
"Well, when I met Rand, he had a legal separation so I don't think I've done anything wrong," Kent has said.
She and Emmett finally confirmed their relationship this January after his divorce from actress Ambyr Childers was finalized in December 2017.
Now, he's free to wed Kent and she's got an engagement ring!
She told PEOPLE, "This weekend has been an amazing one for the two of us! It was definitely the most romantic moment of my life. Every detail of the surprise was stunning and I'm still in shock."
Kent dished the details of Emmett's romantic proposal.
He had set up a screen for her to watch one of her favorite shows, Friends.
But the screen went black and then showed a video of the two and all their memories together, including family moments.
After the video, Emmett got down on one knee and proposed, as Kent told PEOPLE.
As he placed the diamond engagement ring on her finger, a private fireworks display went off in the background.
"I keep looking down at my ring finger. I'm just so happy to say we are officially engaged. We are so excited to start planning the rest of our lives together and I'm excited to put as much detail as Randall did in our engagement into our wedding!" Kent said.
"I immediately started to think I can't wait to tell my parents we are engaged! I looked up in the sky at that exact moment and saw one bright star gleaming," she said.

Two months ago, Kent revealed Emmett had asked for her dad's permission to marry her shortly before he died.
She gushed, "Randall had told me that he had asked my dad permission to marry me earlier this year before my father passed away which is such an incredible gift because I lost my dad suddenly. I believe my father was definitely with us last night in spirit, which makes me even happier and our parents are thrilled!"
As RadarOnline.com has reported, Kent, who at first only called Emmett "my man" on the Bravo reality show, was slammed by Lisa Vanderpump on the recent reunion show for trading sex for gifts!
When host Andy Cohen asked Kent about the gifts her wealthy older boyfriend gave her, she bragged about "Shoes, purses, cars."
"I love Lala, but she's not exactly the quintessential feminist if she's talking about, 'Well, I give a BJ, and I get the jewelry,'" Vanderpump snapped on camera.
"Well, keep in mind I'm blowing my boyfriend. I'm not blowing some random guy for the jewelry," Kent said. "C'mon!"
