EXCLUSIVE: Turpin Torture House: Neighbors NEVER Saw Any Of Creepy Couple’s 13 Captive Kids
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Turpin kids – ages 2 to 29 – lived in their parents’ horrific Perris home, where they were allegedly held captive for years.
Police found them when one of the girls escaped and called 911. Her siblings were found chained to the furniture, inside the home that was covered in urine and filth. According to investigators, the kids looked malnourished, pale, and extremely dirty at the time of their rescue.
All 13 of them are currently getting physical and psychiatric treatment at local hospitals, according to NBC.
“They were just like any ordinary family,” said David Turpin’s 81-year-old mother, Betty, to the outlet. “And they had such good relationships. I’m not just saying this stuff. These kids — we were amazed. They were ‘sweetie’ this and ‘sweetie’ that to each other.”
“It’s hard to believe all of this,” she previously told Southern California News Group. “Over the years, the Lord knows what happened.”
David and Louise have been arrested and are being held on $9 million bail. They are expected to appear in court later today.
