This week’s Southern Charm reunion started off by confirming what RadarOnline.com readers already knew, that Thomas Ravenel was banned from filming, and baby mama Kathryn Dennis broke her silence about his sexual assault allegations.

Ravenel was not present when the Charleston crew gathered to film in New York City, and Andy Cohen made sure to address his absence. In front of a stunned audience, the show host read a statement from Ravenel’s lawyers. It read: “Along with Bravo, our client made the mutual decision not to attend today’s reunion taping as there is a pending investigation.”

“Our client is fully cooperating with authorities on that investigation. He expects to be completely vindicated once the investigation is concluded. He sends his best regards to his fans and his fellow castmates,” the note concluded.

Speaking of Ravenel’s sexual assault claims, Cohen asked Dennis in the reunion “Ravenel was accused of raping the nanny, correct?” and she replied “Yes.” Dennis then explained that she actually knew the woman. “She was with us for about two years,” she said.

Ravenel’s ex opened up about the accusations, telling Cohen, “I’m not going to comment until it’s resolved. What I am going to focus on is just the children and staying out of it.”

She also revealed that she and Ravenel had finally made peace. “We’ve been trying to spend more time together in front of the children. So, things are moving in the right direction the best as they can,” she said.

Later on in the episode, however, Dennis came clean about her ex’s “good old boys system” and how it affected her for so many years.

“How does it feel to finally have your voice this season?” Cohen asked her.

“Really wonderful,” replied Dennis. “Thomas definitely put some things out there and I wish people would have realized how the good old boy system works. Which is painting the woman as crazy, therefore any actions would be discredited.”

Cameran Eubanks told Cohen that the #Metoo movement “has influenced what has happened with Thomas. That is why these women are coming forward now.”

“All I know is Thomas has always been lovely to me,” Naomi Olindo said, with Shep Rose adding that he can also be “volatile.”

“I think like everyone else I want to stay out of it really,” Olindo concluded.

“I will say this, 90 percent of the time Thomas is funny, eccentric, jovial and then we’ve seen there’s a side of him that’s not really him,” Rose said about Ravenel. “There’s a big part of him that I really love and a little part that I don’t.”

Rose also revealed that he apologized to Chelsea Meissner for trying to force her to kiss him the previous season.

Still, Cohen continued pressind Dennis on her relationship with Ravenel. “We have basically joint custody. It’s taken a long time to get there,” she said about their children, explaining that she took a drug test “the other day” because he ordered her to.

Cohen asked her if she resented the tests and she told him: “I don’t have any resentment, because I just don’t care. I’ll just take the test I know I’ll never fail. I will say I know it comes from a place of spite with him.”

Dennis told Cohen that the drug tests did not help her stay sober, but her children did. She said she’d become “numb” to Ravenel.

“I try to be a positive person in his life with whatever is going on,” she said, adding that she doesn’t believe Ashley Jacobs, Ravenel’s girlfriend, “will be around forever.”

Eubanks got emotional telling Dennis how she saw her change. “I view Kathryn in such a different light. I view you as a victim. When Thomas met Kathryn she was pretty much still a child. I think he manipulated her and took advantage of her. He also manipulated a lot of us into being against her. Now that I am a mother, looking back at what she went through. Having two kids and the situation that she was in alone. I can’t imagine. I have so much more empathy for you now,” she said between tears. “I can’t imagine how you have felt and I’m really sorry.”

“I appreciate that. Thank you,” Dennis told her. “Thomas Is very convincing.”

Eubanks continued her tearful apology.

“I can’t imagine what you’ve been through as a mom and not having support around you in your life. And to have all this sh*t you had to go through on top of that. It makes me feel sick.”

“Thank you. It means a lot to hear that. I’ve had a lot of anger and resentment. I know Thomas is super convincing and to have you say that finally gives me affirmation that I wasn’t the crazy one,” Dennis confessed.

Eubanks told her after the “pure hell,” she had been through the group would “always be in your corner,” and Dennis told her she left like a “different person, a better person.”

Cohen asked Eubanks what she thought of Jacobs attacking Dennis and calling her an “egg donor.”

“The fact that she’s not been able to see her kids. It makes me feel physically sick. I can’t even imagine what you feel. And you can’t know unless you have a kid,” she told Dennis.

“Yeah, I think she’s a horrible human being. Horrible,” Dennis said of Jacobs.
