In a shocking video obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, then 12-year-old attempted killer, Morgan Geyser, gave a chilling testimony on why she wanted to murder her best friend, Payton Leutner.
During the nearly five hour long interview with a Waukesha, Wisconsin detective, Geyser never hesitated once in admitting she stabbed Leutner 19 times in hopes that she would kill her.
"What were you trying to do?" the detective asked Geyser in response to the stabbing.
"Kill her. I might as well just say it. We were trying to kill her," Geyser admitted.
After the stabbing, Geyser and fellow accomplice Anissa Weier — who helped pin Leutner down as she was being stabbed — had planned their escape.
"I just remember that we went forward and forward and forward, and we passed a lot of buildings," Geyser explained. "And we went downtown by the shops, we went everywhere. Actually, we were singing the whole time. We kept singing songs to each other. We were surprisingly calm actually."
Geyser and Weier were found four hours later on the I-95 interstate highway.
"It was like we hadn't just killed someone or thought we killed someone or stabbed someone," she revealed.
The detective then asked Geyser to tell him about the knife she stabbed Leutner with.
"Do you know what happened to the knife after Peyton got stabbed?"
"I put it back in the bag... I sort of wiped it off on my jacket," Geyser replied. "I felt no remorse. I thought I would. I still have this idea in my head that it was necessary... I actually felt nothing."
Geyser then went on to explain her motive behind wanting her friend dead.
"We tried to find slender man," she said.
"Who?" The detective asked.
"Slender," Geyser repeated.
"Who's slender?" asked the confused detective.
"He's this tall faceless man who prey's on children," Geyser described. "Anissa said that he might help us. I thought he would kill us though if we did find him though, because he has the tendency to do that."
The stabbing took place May 31, 2014. In February, 2018, Geyser, now 15, was handed the max sentence of 40 years in a mental institution.
