'RHOC' Star Shannon Cuts Down On Drinking After 'Messy' Televised Breakdown

Shannon Beador’s hysterical on-camera breakdown during her trip to Jamaica turned out to be a blessing in disguise!

A source exclusively told RadarOnline.com that the sorry episode “woke her the f**k up.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, Beador’s split from her cheating ex-husband, David Beador, took a devastating toll on The Real Housewives of Orange County star, and she seemed to turn to booze to cope with the loss.

The source said after getting into a brawl with Tamra Judge, 51, and Vicki Gunvalson, 56 — who revealed she caught Beador “drinking vodka alone” during their vacation — the newly single reality star “realized that alcohol was causing her pain.”

“Shannon’s messy breakdown turned out to be the best thing for her,” the source said. "She was miserable during that period of her life and she is glad that her co-stars called her out and told her to snap out of it."

“After the trip, Shannon cut down drinking drastically and started working out non-stop,” the source continued.

“She is no longer in that dark place that she was and has turned everything in her life around. She is finally back to herself.”
