Shannon Beador's fight with her The Real Housewives of Orange County costars on last night's episode exploded when Tamra Judge and Kelly Dodd suggested she take meds to overcome her anger issues brought on by her nasty divorce. Now, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the fight was also a "huge turning point" for the single mother of three! Click through 7 photos of Shannon to find out how she was able to work through her rage with intense workouts and weight training.
As fans know, Beador, 54, Judge, 51, and Vicki Gunvalson, 56, have gotten into several nasty fights over that past few years. But months after last night's explosive fight, a source told Radar that the "tres amigos" are closer than ever.
In recent episodes, Beador's anger over her divorce from estranged husband David was obvious and causing her castmates to want nothing to do with her. But when Dodd told her struggling pal she should take meds to overcome her issues, she blew up!
"Instead of taking medication, Shannon saw the Jamaica trip as an opportunity to change herself. When she got back from that trip, she started increasing her workouts to daily and started feeling happy again," a source told Radar.
And Beador's hard work payed off, as she has lost a staggering amount of weight! But instead of non-stop cardio, the insider told Radar that Shannon is getting into weight training and is benching her blues away.
Beador looked skinnier than ever in tight pants while visiting Sacramento, Calif. recently. "I experienced some 'firsts' at the @comcast_spotlight event in Sacramento! The incredible David Garibaldi painted my portrait in front of a live audience," Shannon captioned this photo.
"Shannon is just so ready to put her old self behind her. She has worked on her body and her other issues and truly feels happy right now," the source said, adding that her heated relationship with CEO Scot Matteson has given her even more motivation to workout.
