The porn star also had several different metabolites from cocaine and marijuana in her system, as well as a drug used to treat seizures.

The case report says that a marijuana pipe was found near her body on the day she killed herself and a bottle of anxiety medication was found in her car.

Her husband Kevin Moriarty revealed that Ames had a history of suicide attempts including an attempted overdose while he also found a rope in her car.

It's understood her mood spiraled after she tried to reach out to her estranged father but he rebuffed her reunion attempt.

He also told police that Ames had recently been spending a lot of time on social media where she "made controversial comments on Twitter and she received 'a lot of hate mail.'"

Moriarty explained that the backlash she received from her statements had taken a toll on her health.

Ames died on December 5, 2017, aged 23. She was found around 3:45 AM hanging in a public park 20 minutes from her home in Camarillo.
