NFL Star J.J. Watt is going to pay for the funerals of the Santa Fe High School victims.

The Houston Texans defensive end made the gesture after being left shocked by the shootings that left ten dead and more than a dozen injured.

After the news broke, Watt — who famously raised millions for Houston's hurricane relief efforts — tweeted, "Absolutely horrific.

Word spread shortly thereafter that the star had offered to pay for all 10 funerals.

Daytime TV host Ellen DeGeneres took to Twitter to thank him for the gesture.

She wrote: "Thank you, @JJWatt for going above and beyond for the families of Santa Fe, Texas. I love you."

Dimitrios Pagourtzis, a 17-year-old high school junior student, is suspected of gunning down his fellow classmates and teachers in the rampage on Friday morning.
