Mob Wives star Drita D'Avanzo was arrested for possession of drugs and guns, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
A spokesperson from the New York Police Department said the District Attorney asked them to conduct a search at the celebrity’s Richmond County home.
Drita, 43, and her husband, Lee, were arrested on Thursday, December 19, in Staten Island after police raided their property and found two loaded firearms, a Smith & Wesson 9mm and an S&W 38 caliber gun. They also discovered 120 pills of hydrocodone/acetaminophen, 22 Xanax pills and marijuana.
The couple was booked on 10 charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
In a statement, the Richmond County D.A.'s Office told Radar: ”Defendants Drita D’Avanzo and Lee D’Avanzo were arraigned today in Staten Island Criminal Court. Bail was set at $15K/15K for Drita D’Avanzo. Defendant Lee D’Avanzo was remanded into custody."
Both cases have been adjourned to January 31, 2020.
Since one of their two daughters was in the house at the time police arrived, they were also booked on one count of acting in a manner injurious to a child.
As readers know, this is not Drita's first scandal. Back in 2018, she got into a heated fight with former Teem Mom star Farrah Abraham during a joint strip club appearance. Following the argument, a source told Radar Abrahams' loved ones were fearing for her safety!
“Drita wants to get on a plane to f**k her up,” the insider said. “Everyone is telling Farrah to shut up. This is someone you don’t want to f**k with. No one should be bothering Drita. The mob will come after her!"
Drita has also been involved in various feuds with her fellow Mob Wives. In an exclusive 2016 interview, Brittany Fogarty told Radar, “I think that you keep seeing the drama between Drita and Karen and there’s these fights, but they’re never really fights.”
According to Fogarty, 28, show producers keep the confrontations from getting worse.
“We have this entire crew around us when this fight is happening, and there’s security holding us down and separating us and holding us apart from each other,” she explained. “So, in real life, I think Drita would have beat the s*** out of her already. But there’s security to protect her, so she can say whatever she wants.”
More details to come.
