'She Was Using Him': Meghan's Brother Says His Dad & Doria Never Talked After Divorce
Meghan Markle's brother Thomas Jr. has lifted the lid on his father and Doria Ragland’s troubled marriage.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com he revealed he believes Megan's mom was just using his father!
Troubled Thomas Markle, 74, and Doria Ragland, 62, were married between 1979 and 1987 but their marriage was always troubled and things got worse after they split.
“After Doria and my dad split up, I think it was in Hollywood and they moved from Woodland Hills they never got along ever again after that.
“My dad would complain to me abut Doria constantly and still to this day they do not get along at all."
Although Thomas Jr. believes the 14 years age difference played a role in the split, he claims Ragland also "used" his dad.
“I think with my dad and Doria’s age gap was way too big, my dad was working all the time and Doria was not,” he revealed
“After they got married she didn’t work and I think he just got fed up. I just do not think she was ready at all to be in that role or to be part of a family, she was too young for that.
“What I do think of Doria is that she did really used my father. She saw an opportunity and hooked up with him and when it did not work because of their age difference I thinks she took advantage of him.
“Their relationship was so short and over so fast as soon as Meg was born, it was pretty much obvious. I think he really found out just why she was with him. I think it was to use him.
The couple cut ties after the split, despite their shared child. “They never got along one day after that, ever.”
