Matt Snubbed! Lauer NOT Invited To Kathie Lee & Hoda's 10th Anniversary Party

Matt Lauer was not invited to Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb’s 10th Today show anniversary party this Wednesday!

Internally there was debate as to if they should invite him,” a guest exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “Kathie Lee Gifford is still close with Matt and he was supportive when the show debuted 10 years ago.”

“Many people at NBC doubted that the show would work when it debuted a decade again — but Matt was one of the new hour’s biggest champions. He should have been at least invited,” the source added.

The snub comes after the disgraced former host was fired from the network when a string of women accused him of sexual harassment. After the victims went to the media with their allegations, Lauer, 60, admitted there was “enough truth” in the claims to make him feel ashamed.

Lauer — who is still married to longtime wife Annette Roque — was instantly let go from the show and replaced by Hoda Kotb, 53.

While he is reportedly still close to Gifford, 64, and Savannah Guthrie, he has been keeping a very low profile ever since his career-damaging scandal broke.

Anniversary party guests included Megyn Kelly, Savannah Guthrie, 46, Willie Geist and Carson Daly. Both Lauer and original show host Ann Curry were missing.
