Married at First Sight’s Cody Knapek has been patiently waiting to have sex with his wife Danielle DeGroot – and is the time to consummate their marriage finally here? In an exclusive sneak peek, Danielle plans a romantic evening for her new husband!

“Danielle got the fire place going, she’s got blankets down, she’s got our favorite drinks, she did something really nice and planned an awesome night,” Cody said in his confessional.

Danielle’s gesture has him “hopeful” that she’s finally ready to consummate the marriage!

“I feel this is the right time. Tonight is going to be the night,” he said. “I’m really excited.”

When Danielle left the room to get his “next surprise,” he was disappointed to find out that the next event on their agenda is making s'mores.

“S'mores aren’t what I was hoping for,” he said.

But he isn’t giving up, as he vowed to continue to be patient.

“We’ve had ups and downs, but the further along we go it’s allowed us to build a strong foundation,” he said. “As hard as it’s been, I think it’s going to end up paying off in the end. I want something that’s real.”

He continued, “I want to have a life and I want someone to go home to and experience life with. That’s why I wanted to be married at first sight.”

In a recent episode, Danielle explained how she hasn’t felt a “spark” with her new husband.

“I am really worried we can’t get to a place where there is a physical attraction or chemistry,” she said.
