Luann de Lesseps has pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against her for allegedly assaulting a police officer — and Radaronline.com has all the exclusive details.
The Real Housewives of New York star, 53, filed her plea with the Palm Beach County Court on December 29, just six days after her arrest.
"The defendant hereby waives arraignment, enters a plea of not guilty, and demands trial with jury," her newly hired high-powered Palm Beach attorney, Douglas Duncan, stated in court documents obtained by Radar.
De Lesseps must return to court for a hearing on January 25, when the state will officially file the charges.
As Radar previously reported, the mother of two was arrested on December 23 after allegedly entering the wrong hotel room with a man in Palm Beach and refusing to leave. According to the police report, she threatened cops while they tried to arrest her and told officers she wanted to kill them.
She was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, corruption by threat, disorderly intoxication and resisting officer with violence.
Following her arrest, recently divorcee de Lesseps checked herself into a rehab facility.
“I want to offer my most sincere apologies to anyone that I might have offended with my behavior,” She wrote on Twitter. “This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being here brought up buried emotions. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018.”
