Country legend Loretta Lynn's brother spent his final days in and out of the hospital fighting multiple health complications, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
Lynn's younger brother, Herman Webb, 83, passed away on Saturday, July 28, surrounded by family. In the weeks leading up to Herman's passing, his daughter Miranda Webb spoke to RadarOnline.com about his debilitating health.
"He had pneumonia and he's having kidney failure too," Miranda revealed to RadarOnline.com in early July.
Miranda, who is also Lynn's niece, said that Herman spent nine days straight in the hospital at the end of June. Lynn's brother was then brought back home for about "two to three days" but ultimately had to return because his symptoms were getting worse.
Miranda said Lynn had not visited Herman in early July because she, too, was trying to regain her strength back after suffering a near-fatal stroke last year.
The country artist's sister, Crysta Gayle, however, paid Herman a visit.
RadarOnline.com previously reported that Lynn, 86, is still undergoing physical therapy after suffering a broken hip earlier this year.
Miranda revealed that Lynn had called her younger brother in early July to speak to him over the phone while he was at home. Lynn's niece added she was "sure" the country star was worried about Herman during his final weeks.
The passing of Loretta's brother comes on the heels of the sudden death of her ex daughter-in-law, Cindy Plemons. Plemons had spent her final hours singing along to a concert at Lynn's famous ranch in Tennessee.
