Country music legend Loretta Lynn fractured her hip after a dangerous fall last week at her Tennessee home, RadarOnline.com has learned.
A statement on the website of the frail 85-year-old singer-songwriter says Lynn is “doing well and thanks all her fans for their thoughts and prayers.”
Lynn’s sister, country singer Crystal Gale, asked everyone to send Lynn “love and prayers.”
“I was with Loretta yesterday,” Gale wrote on Instagram “She is in good spirits and is doing as well as can be expected with this type of injury.”
RadarOnline.com readers remember that the “Coal Miner’s Daughter” hitmaker suffered a devastating stroke last May, forcing her to cancel several shows and postpone the release of a new album.
