'Little Women' Stars Christy & Todd Shop For Lingerie Before Marriage Implosion
Little Women: LA stars Christy Gibel and her husband Todd went shopping for lingerie before their marriage implosion, as RadarOnline.com's exclusive video reveals.
Recently, Christy filed a request for a restraining order against her husband.
RadarOnline.com revealed the exclusive details of the shocking court filing after years of marital trouble, which showed that Christy, 41, filed a motion for a domestic violence prevention without minor child on Wednesday, May 7, 2019 in Chatsworth Courthouse in Los Angeles.
And a source close to the reality star told RadarOnline.com that she’s "worried about his temperament."
"Their marriage is dissolving. She wants him out of the house. She wants her house back since he’s never contributed anything!"
In court papers, Christy claimed, "On or about April 18, 2019, I told respondent that our marriage was not working, and we should figure out our next steps. I mentioned that I was concerned for his wellbeing and asked him repeatedly to seek help – this was a common occurrence during our marriage. Respondent began to yell and threaten me. Even as far as to throw/break household items."
But in the upcoming, Thursday, May 16, 2019 episode of the Lifetime reality show, squabbling Christy and Todd are still together and shopping for lingerie.
Christy, who underwent gastric sleeve surgery last year, is starting her own lingerie line.
As part of getting comfortable for her business, Christy told her husband at the lingerie store, "I need to get some ideas. Being a little person, it's terrifying sometimes going shopping just for dresses or shirts or pants, but going to get lingerie? That's a nightmare."
In trying on garments, she whispered, "I don't like the feel of this one. It's just not my style."
Todd pointed out, "Well, if anything, you're learning what you don't want."
Christy complained that the piece was uncomfortable, sighing, "I can never wear this. I don't have the body for it. My boobs go down to the floor."
The reality TV star lost 80 pounds in gastric surgery, and Todd told her, "Your mind is still back where your body was before surgery."
Christy replied, "You're right. I just don't have that confidence yet. I'm sorry. It's true. And I know you say, 'Oh, you're fine. You look great and sexy,' but in my world, I don't."
Todd recalled how she's been telling him to get his hip fixed, and she should "get over your insecurities about your body if you're gonna make lingerie... Because if you're not confident, why should anyone else be confident in your line?"
Christy said, "I'm sorry. It's just hard for me."
Todd said, "You know what you should do? You should take all these insecurities you have and turn them into drive because then you can figure out, 'You know what? This would work if I did this.' And you use that insecurity as motivation."
Christy told the cameras, "I used to be so miserable because I didn't like the way I looked. Todd is reminding me it's not only my body I had to change. It's my mind too."
Todd tried to be encouraging as she continued to try on lingerie, but in a sour note, Christy told him, "I know you're trying to be encouraging, but you're not helping."
She then moaned,"Oh, my God. What is all this stuff? I'm not 20 anymore. My boobs sag down to my belly button. I need some lift! I gotta try something else on. I don't like this one."
Todd wanted to see but Christy snapped, "Just freaking give me a moment.
"Nothing's fitting right, Todd."
During their bitter split, Todd has accused Christy of cheating on him and claimed her PR company, Blu Public Relations, covered up her affair.
But Christy's rep has said, "Allegations have been made by Todd that are largely fabricated, per Christy, and she’s taking the steps necessary to find a means to an end."
Viewers have previously seen Christy outraged about Todd's health trouble, shouting, "he has to get his knee done, and then his skin surgery, and that’s just a pain in the a**!"
She added, "I can’t do this anymore. And I want to participate in things and I feel like I can’t because he can’t."
Christy revealed she was ready to divorce her husband way back in a June 2018 episode.
As RadarOnline.com reported last year, Christy kicked her husband out of their Los Angeles home.
After Christy suffered a mini-stroke during neck surgery in late 2016, she publicly claimed her husband wasn’t supportive, physically or emotionally.
