'Little People' Star Matt Roloff SLAMS Ex-Wife Amy: 'We Were Never Compatible!'

On this week's episode of Little People, Big World, Amy Roloff and boyfriend Chris Marek celebrated their one-year anniversary — in a very risky way!

"I think the biggest difference in this relationship versus my marriage, is that Chris brings out the adventurous side of me that has been on hold for me for many years," Amy admitted. "As an example: to celebrate our one-year anniversary, we are going skydiving!"

Amy opened up about never getting to show off her wild side during her 27-year marriage to Matt Roloff.

"Ive always been adventurous but what Chris does is open me up to new things," she revealed. "I don't really remember doing a lot of this with Matt. He was just so focused on work or doing projects. Being aggressive is good, that's how you get to do the things you want to do. But you have to realize it can come at a cost. And I think it definitely came at a cost."

Although Amy was excited to celebrate her year-long romance with Chris, she voiced concerns about what their future as a couple would hold.

Divorce was a very dramatic chapter in my life," Amy confessed. "So, it is scary to be that vulnerable with someone else. But now being with Chris, I like the fact that I'm able to open myself to someone else. But I do have my doubts, especially since he told me he wanted to take it one day at a time."

Amy recalled asking Chris six month prior to their anniversary, whether he was "looking forward to the next six months."

"I just take it as it comes; let's just go with that," Chris replied at the time, and his answer didn't settle well with Amy.

"When he said that, it definitely plays heavy on my mind and my heart," Amy said. "What do I do? What is this? Where am I going? Where do I want to go? Where does he want to go? Where are we going together? Lots of questions, and that is something I think we need to figure out."

Meanwhile, as Amy was figuring out what the future held for her and her beau, ex-husband Matt attempted to find his balance with girlfriend, Caryn Chandler.

"Sometimes on a Monday after working all weekend long, I realize I haven't had normal body rest," Matt expressed. "This time of year, there is project after project after project lined up for me, that needs my attention heading into pumpkin season."

Speaking of Matt's workaholic ways, Caryn said: "Work is in Matt's DNA, it always will be." After a pause, she continued, "I actually love that drive in him. He can get carried away, anyone can get carried away. But he loves to work — it's kind of his hobby."

Despite Matt's job responsibilities, Caryn made it her mission for them to get away and take day trip to the beach.

"I really like and appreciate the fact that she wants to spend personal time with me," Matt said of his girlfriend. "It really warms my heart. Amy and I had some compatibility when the kids were born. But looking back after the kids were gone, we realized we don't really have a lot in common and we are different people. We are very different people. So it feels good to be in a situation where you feel compatible on many levels."

"I have to figure out how to tame the best," Matt added "Just her energy soothes the savage beast. My passion has gotten in the way of my personal life over many, many years, and it sometimes that's a detriment to the people around me. But I don't want to make the same mistakes as I did with Amy. Caryn soothes me tremendously in that she knows how to balance me."

On the next episode of Little People, Zach and Tori plan a trip to California possibly missing the birth of Audrey and Jeremy's daughter! Meanwhile, Matt considers leaving the farm for good!
