The bad blood between Leah Remini and the Church of Scientology continues to boil, with the David Miscavige-led church getting in the latest shots after the star's revealing recent 20/20 interview.

Church reps told NBC News Monday of Remini: "Her repeated ethical lapses and callous treatment of others led to an ecclesiastical review, which resulted in her being expelled.

They continued, saying that the King of Queens star, 45, "now regurgitates the tired myths the church has repeatedly debunked."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Remini had jaws dropping in her tell-all Oct. 30 chat with 20/20's Dan Harris, recalling shocking details of her three decades in the church, including revelations about the labor she performed as a child; punishments dished out by superiors if tasks weren't completed to satisfaction; discipline she faced after criticizing Tom Cruise over his marriage to Katie Holmes (the beauty reacted to the interview with her own statement); and how wanting to protect her daughter factored into her decision to leave, something she feels Holmes did for her daughter, Suri.
