Just One Drink! Kim Richards Spills All About The Night Of Her Polo Lounge Arrest

Kim Richards is finally revealing the details of her arrest at the Polo Lounge , but the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's version of events may not be the actual truth about the night where she was taken into custody after assaulting a police officer.
"You know, I drank that night," the 51-year-old reality star tells Andy Cohen in a special Watch What Happens Live with the newly sober actress.
She explains to Cohen that she had been "working a program" for three and a half years, but had fallen off the wagon in early Spring 2015.
Richards says that taking care of her son, who she said "wasn't well. He was sick," and her ex-husband, Monty Brinson, who was alive and dealing with stage 4 cancer took a toll on her emotionally.
"I was taking care of other people and I stopped taking care of myself."
Richards tells Cohen that she "had a glass of wine with a girlfriend. Just a glass of wine at home," but it was two weeks before her fateful night.
She claims she was at her daughter Brooke Wiederhorn's house after visiting her sick son and had a drink while she was watching RHOBH reunion episodes.
"I felt horribly guilty," she admits.
Richards then says she snuck out of the house, telling her sleeping daughter she was leaving, but panicked and thought: "I realize I can't drink and drive."
So she pulled into the Beverly Hills Hotel, a hotspot she had frequented for years, but claims that since the Hollywood boycott of the hotel none of the staff "knew me there."
Richards claims they told her the Polo Lounge was closed and she begged to go inside. "I'm just going to sit in my booth…Please…I'm staying…I can't drive…I'm scared," she says she told them.
But according to the former child star, the manager told her he would call the police, a threat she did not take seriously.
"I really thought he was joking."
A source revealed the details of the night to RadarOnline.com that are drastically different from Richards' version of the night. According to RadarOnline.com's source, Richards was knocking back vodka tonics at the bar in the Polo Lounge until after midnight when a bartender informed her she had to leave. She eventually locked herself in the bathroom and that is when the police were called.
She was belligerent and when they arrived she kicked an officer so she was hauled her off to jail where she spent the night.
Richards was sentenced to three years probation, 52 AA classes and 30 days community labor.
