Although Kim Kardashian welcomed a healthy baby boy in December, the delivery turned risky when she faced multiple health problems on the season finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Not only did Kim, 35, learn her son Saint West is three pounds over the average weight, but she also discovered that he is breech.
“The delivery is way more scary to me,” the pregnant reality star said in her confessional. “I have to get the baby turned and in the right position otherwise there could be some complications.”
With the possibly of having to undergo a C-section if the baby is breech at the time of the delivery, Kim was also informed her preeclampsia may have returned.
In addition to her medical issues, the move-in date for Kim’s new home was pushed back to March.
“This is beyond f**ked up and this is so not fair to do to me and my family,” Kim, who has been living in her mother Kris Jenner’s home with her husband Kanye West and their daughter North, said. “I really wanted to be in my house when I have the baby. It’s so overwhelming.”
Instead of living in a temporary home, Kris agreed to move out until Kim's house is ready.
“She got an amazing place so we’re not on top of each other,” Kim said in her confessional. “She has been such a supportive person when she knows I’m stressed out.”
As Kris was showing her daughter her new apartment, Kim’s water broke.
But Kim wasn’t the only one worried about living arrangements, as Khloe Kardashian struggled with allowing her estranged husband Lamar Odom to live with her following his discharge from the hospital.
“The doctors told me Lamar could go home as early as two weeks,” Khloe said in her confessional of Lamar, who suffered a drug overdose in October. “Lamar lives in Las Vegas and he needs full-time care so I don’t know what to do.”
In the end, Khloe decided to have Lamar, 36, live in a transition assisted living home.
“The doctors said they’re disappointed with the lack of growth he’s had,” Khloe explained. “Once Lamar is discharged he will go to a transition assisted living place because he’s great one day and then tomorrow he will completely regress.”
Also on the episode, Kourtney Kardashian continued to work on her relationship with Scott Disick during his 30-day rehab stay. Although she joined him for therapy once a week, she insisted that she has no plans to get back together with him.
“I want to have a relationship with him for my whole life,” she explained to Kim. “We have three kids together so it’s important to be friends and be there for each other.”
When Scott, 32, returned home from rehab, Kourtney, 36, stayed strong about their split.
“I don’t want to end up in the same situation I just got out of,” Kourtney explained in her confessional. “Thirty days is not enough for me to trust the situation.
It wouldn’t be a season finale without a sister squabble, as Kylie Jenner slammed Kendall for not allowing her to attend the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
“Everyone thinks I’m the jealous sister and I didn’t want to show up,” Kylie said. “Kendall didn’t really want anyone else to have attention on the biggest night of her life, which I understand, but we’re known for supporting each other.”
While promoting their clothing line in Australia, Kylie, 18, acted “snippy” towards her sister.
When Kylie confronted her, she explained how everyone thinks she’s the “bad guy.”
“Who cares what people think,” Kendall said, as Kylie responded, “It’s kind of hurtful because I wanted to be at the show to support you.”
Kendall, 20, replied, “I’m really sorry if your feelings were hurt. It was kind of my night and I wanted to take it.”
