Police might have averted yet another mass shooting this week when they arrested a 23-year-old University of Washington student who gushed gobs of disconcerting online praise for Elliot Rodger, the Santa Barbara shooter who killed seven people and injured 13 others in a deadly shooting spree last month.
Police said that Keshav Bhide was taken into custody Saturday in connection with cyberstalking and felony harassment after sharing many of his disturbing sentiments on Google+ and Youtube; following a hearing on Monday, Bhide remains in custody with bail set at $150,001.

According to officials, Bhide declared on the aforementioned sites that "I am the next Elliot Rodger and guess what I'll do the right thing this time;” and deducted that “everything Elliot did is perfectly justified.”
Much like the misogynist murderer Rodger, Bhide (using the screenname "Foss Dark”) expressed a vicious contempt for members of the opposite sex declaring that, "I'll make sure I only kill women," according to court docs.

After the comments were reported to police, the FBI became involved and used Bhide’s IP number and screenname to track their suspect.
According to the University of Washington’s campus newspaper, The Daily, Bhide was cited by students as the possible culprit of recent phone threats made to campus sororities in which a male called said he was "looking for someone to shoot."
