Jessa Duggar is secretly friends with Katy Perry’s lawsuit nemesis, who landed a victory against the pop star in court this week, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.

On July 29, a jury ruled that Perry, 34, copied her song “Dark Horse” from Christian rapper Marcus Gray, also known as Flame. Now, RadarOnline.com can reveal the years-long friendship between the Counting On star, her husband, Ben Seewald, and the rapper.

In the video clip shown above, Flame – whose copyright for the song “Joyful Noise” was found to have been infringed upon by Perry – pays a visit to the Seewald home in 2016.

“Flame has been doing Christian hip hop for many years now,” Ben told the camera. “I started listening to some of Flame’s music a little over a year ago. I really appreciated the content of his music. We actually became friends.”

Ben explained that he, Jessa and their first son, Spurgeon, visited Flame at his music studio in St. Louis, Missouri years ago. Perry’s court nemesis then returned the favor and finally got a taste of Arkansas – and it was captured by the TLC cameras!

“During this visit we want to kind of introduce Flame to life in the country as opposed to life in the city,” Ben said on camera.

Jessa is shown welcoming Flame and his wife, Crystal, into their home. Ben was filmed grilling for Flame, who joked that he has “zero skill” when it comes to cooking outdoors.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Flame accused Orlando Bloom’s fiancée of lifting his underlying beat from his song for the 2013 single “Dark Horse.”

Flame’s song was played at the Grammy Awards and was also on YouTube and MySpace. Despite its notoriety, Perry and music producer Dr. Luke claimed to have never heard the song before.

Flame has yet to publicly comment on his court victory. But the pop star will now be ordered by a judge to pay damages to the Duggars’ talented family friend!
