After years of scandal and a particularly rough season for the couple, Jeremy and Audrey Roloff have officially decided to quit Little People, Big World.
The reality star duo broke the news just one year after Audrey experienced a series of health issues after welcoming daughter Ember Jean. The new mother's challenges with painful breast-swelling and post-baby blues was documents on the latest season of the hit TLC show.
Jeremy, 28, made the announcement on his Instagram page Tuesday: "After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come. A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride," he said.
"We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun.?? We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically - the show must go on!"
The shocking news comes after years of scandal surrounding the couple. As RadarOnline.com previously reported exclusively, Jeremy and Audrey came under fire for an alleged hate scandal after Audrey was accused of slamming gay fans, and even cozying up to anti-LGBT minister John Bevere's wife Lisa.
Just months later, Audrey faced criticism again after she wrote a blog post claiming husbands "have authority" over their wives' bodies.
The uber-traditional Audrey, who regularly quotes Bible verses on her Christian marriage blog Beating 50 Percent, also got heat when she posted a seemingly nude photo to her Instagram.
One reader even compared her to naked selfie queen. “Please don’t start taking pictures like the Kardashians, you’re too classy for that!” a conservative fan begged.
Another follower claimed the couple had “changed” into “self-absorbed” people due to their ever-increasing fame, only focusing on photos of themselves rather than the couples they claim to advise.
To make matters worse, Jeremy's Christian marriage blogger wife doesn't get along with his free-spirited, liberal brother Jacob.
Jacob, 21, unfollowed Audrey, 26, on Instagram last year, though he continued to follow his mother Amy, sister Molly, brothers Jeremy and Zach, and Zach’s wife Tori.
