Making Moves! Jennifer Lawrence Shacks Up With Boyfriend For Trial Marriage
Jennifer Lawrence and new beau Cooke Maroney are already living together — and friends are buzzing it’s a trial marriage!
“Jen swears this isn’t an impulsive decision,” a friend told RadarOnline.com. “To her, this feels right. She talked it through with her closest friends before making the leap.”
“Cooke moved his stuff into her places in L.A. and New York a few weeks ago, right when Jen agreed the relationship should be exclusive,” continued the pal.
“They’re very much in the honeymoon phase, but Jen’s saying this feels more special than any of her previous boyfriends.”
And Lawrence, 28, insists she’s different than before, too.
“She believes she’s been too uptight in previous relationships and not given them enough of a chance early on,” noted the friend.
The Oscar winner and Cooke, art director at New York’s trendy Gladstone 64 gallery, went public in June. Since then, sources said, their romance is moving at lightning speed.
“Jen’s friends were a little surprised that she decided to take this step so early on, but she insists things are different with Cooke,” the pal revealed of the man Lawrence loves because he’s “laid-back” and not in showbiz.
But now she’s trying to find out if he’s the marrying kind.
“Jen is a traditional girl at heart and she’s longing to get married,” said the friend. “It’s still early, but living together will be the perfect way to see if Cooke is someone she can really picture herself settling down with.”

“She hasn’t had the best luck in love, but she’s crazy about Cooke,” added the pal. “She wants to do whatever she can to make this work.”
