Heather Locklear Pleads Not Guilty To Battery & Resisting Arrest Charges
Legal troubles are mounting for troubled actress Heather Locklear. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal prosecutors filled additional charges against the Melrose Place star – and she has pled not guilty to all.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office filed an amended complaint on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018 and added three new charges in connection to the June 24, 2018 arrest at Locklear’s Thousand Oaks, Calif. home.
The new charges include one misdemeanor count of battery upon an officer, one misdemeanor count of resisting arrest and misdemeanor battery on an EMT.
Locklear did not appear Ventura County Superior Court, but her attorney, William Haney, entered a not guilty plea on all eight misdemeanor charges.
Locklear is scheduled for a pretrial conference on September 27.
According to Senior Deputy District Attorney Thomas Dunlevy, Locklear faces a maximum of eight years in county jail.
The Melrose Place actress was already charged with five other misdemeanor counts after she allegedly bit her boyfriend, Chris Heisser, on the nose and allegedly hit and threatened Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies and emergency responders who responded to a 911 call to her home on Feb. 25, 2018.
She was charged with four misdemeanor counts of battery on a peace officer and one misdemeanor count of resisting arrest stemming from that Feb. 25, 2018 incident.

According to sources, Locklear and Heisser were involved in another incident on Friday, June 15, 2018.
Locklear allegedly hit Heisser outside a retail store near her home. Two days later, Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies and fire personnel responded to a 911 call at Locklear’s home after the actress allegedly choked her mother and threatened to kill herself.
Locklear was checked into a local hospital for psychiatric evaluation that Sunday, sources told RadarOnline.com.
According to a June 6, 2018 motion filed by Haney, Locklear “sought treatment at a medical facility soon after her arrest. I am confident that records and the analysis of her treating physicians shall directly relate to matters under consideration by the Court.”
