Scandal-plagued Derick Dillard shared a photo of himself kissing wife Jill Duggar on top of a mountain in Colorado! On Friday, the fired Counting On husband and father posted the picture on Instagram while he is traveling in the rocky mountain state with Jill.
"Gettin’ high on love at the summit of Pikes Peak," Derick captioned the shot, adding that it was, "Officially our highest kiss at 14,115 ft." A beautiful view of mountains appeared in the background of Derick and Jill's selfie makeout photo. Fans commented on the romantic scene and Jill's nose ring as she continued to rebel against her family's strict dress code.
Former reality show star Derick promised fans, "More pics of our latest family adventure coming soon to dillardfamily.com." Earlier, Derick had instagrammed a shot by himself standing in a coffee house in Colorado Springs. "Love this city," he raved in the caption. Derick's romantic moment with Jill came as the two also celebrated the 3rd birthday of their oldest son Israel on Friday. They posted a tribute to the boy on the Dillard family blog. The lovebirds also raise son Samuel, who is nine months old.
TLC fired Derick from Counting On after he shocked America when he attacked transgender Jazz Jennings, the 17-year-old star of I Am Jazz. Ultrs-religious Derick had slammed her on Twitter, saying, tweeting, "I pity Jazz." Jennings was diagnosed with gender identity disorder at 4 years old and transitioned from a male to a female.
Dillard had offended many by writing on his social media, misgendering fellow TLC personality Jennings as male, "4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decision 2 be made by a child. It's sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way. Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what's on TV these days."
As RadarOnline.com has reported, Jill and Derick appear desperate for cash after he was ousted from the show.
In an effort to make some extra bucks, the Dillards announced on their family Facebook page that they’ve entered their son, Israel, in a photo contest that promises a $350 cash prize for the lucky winner.
But it's clear Derick's missteps haven't affected their love for each other!
