Fight For Life! David Cassidy's Family Praying For Liver Donor

David Cassidy is in urgent need of a liver donor as he battles for his life.
RadarOnline.com has learned that his family is praying that a suitable donor can be matched up for him as they continue their bedside vigil.
A source revealed: "His son, ex-wife and brother are with him in the hope that a liver donor will be found.
"He is currently in liver and kidney failure. He was in an induced coma and is now conscious.
Doctors are monitoring his condition very closely this weekend but the television icon remains seriously ill as his family and medical team assess his options.
Cassidy is widely known for his starring role as Keith Partridge on the 1970s series The Partridge Family.
His health has been failing for several years while he has been plagued by other personal problems too.
Earlier this year Cassidy revealed that he had been battling dementia – he made the announcement after falling on stage.

The one time pin-up actor has endured a troubled past including arrests and a stint in rehab plus money problems.
After his on stage fall Partridge opened up about his condition.
He said: "I was in denial, but a part of me always knew this was coming."
His mother the actress Evelyn Ward struggled with dementia until her death at 89 in 2012.
