Judge Grants David Cassidy Probation Termination In Hit & Run Case

David Cassidy is officially off criminal probation for his hit-and-run case, court documents exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com reveal.

As Radar reported, Cassidy was sentenced in his criminal case in 2016, after he was accused of causing a collision on a Florida highway and leaving the scene.

He was charged with fleeing the scene of an accident, driving on a suspended license due to his previous DUI conviction, and operating a vehicle with an expired registration. He faced up to 6 months in jail along with 6 months probation.

He was also prohibited from drinking or using any drugs or controlled substances. Even worse, his license was suspended for five years and was subjected to random breathalyzer and urine tests at his expense.

On May 26, The Partridge Family star argued that since he’s stayed out of trouble for a year, he should be allowed to freely move on from the case and thus pleaded with the judge to terminate his probation early despite still having six months remaining on the sentence.

Then on June 29th, a hearing was held on Cassidy’s motion and the judge granted the actors plea to terminate his probation.

The order states the criminal probation if officially terminated and Cassidy is done with the case once and for all.
