Corey Simms is insisting he didn't steal his ex-girlfriend's baby name!

After RadarOnline.com reported that the Teen Mom 2 dad, 26, swiped his newborn daughter's unique name, Remington, from his ex Amber Scaggs O'Brien's little girl, the star reached out exclusively to RadarOnline.com to set the record straight.

"The whole name 'stealing' bulls*** is pretty funny, if you ask me," he told RadarOnline.com following the story's publication. "I guess everyone with the name 'Amy' or 'Nick' was stolen, too."

The reality star, married to Miranda Patterson, also mentioned a "stressful time," likely referring to his daughter's premature birth on November 8.

"It's sad that in such a stressful time of mine and Miranda's life, we have to deal with such unnecessary drama," he added.

Fortunately, Remington, who was born nearly two months early, is doing well, Simms' father Jeff told Teen Mom fans on Twitter.

"She is in NICU," he said. "Doing great."

Simms also recently became a full-time dad of his 5-year-old twins with ex Leah Messer, Ali and Aleeah, when he won primary custody in October following months of accusations that his ex-wife was an incompetent mother.
