Colt Johnson has called Larissa Dos Santos Lima his “wife” over social media, but have the 90 Day Fiancé stars really tied the knot? RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the controversial couple got married in June, months before Dos Santos Lima’s shocking domestic battery arrest.
According to Clark County Court in Nevada, Johnson and Dos Santos Lima applied for their marriage license on June 11, 2018.
The couple got married weeks later on June 24, 2018.
Johnson and Dos Santos Lima’s relationship has been plagued with controversy.
Dos Santos Lima was unimpressed with Johnson’s living situation when she moved from Brazil to Nevada, as he shares a home with his mother Debbie and their cats. On the most recent episode, Dos Santos Lima convinced him to move out.
In a preview for next week’s episode, she fights with Johnson’s extended family, as they fear she is using him for a green card.
Then on November 10, Dos Santos Lima was arrested for domestic battery against Johnson. She was held on $1,000 bail.
Before the arrest, she changed her Instagram handle to @helpmeimwithoutphone and posted, “Help me… He turned off hide my phone help me he wants to call the police help me.”
Johnson clarified on this Instagram page, “Larissa was arrested this afternoon. She suffers from high anxiety and severe depression. She over reacted to problems that do not exist.”
He explained how he “proceeded to deactivate her phone to try to defuse the situation,” but instead it “escalated and matters became worse.”
“The police interviewed us but not long after they decided to arrest Larissa,” he wrote. “No one was hurt and I did not press charges against my wife. However it is policy in the state of Nevada that since we are in a domestic partnership, someone had to be arrested.”
That was the second domestic violence arrest for Dos Santos Lima. The charges were dismissed.
But the scandals don’t end there. Los Santos Lima confirmed she has a son, whose aunt later adopted him because she was unable to financially care for him. She is also mother to a daughter, who she hopes to bring to America one day.
