Sober Living! Catelynn Lowell Quitting Drugs & Alcohol After Rehab For Depression

Although Catelynn Lowell checked into rehab for suicidal thoughts, she plans to remain sober from drugs and alcohol now that she’s home. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the Teen Mom OG star’s post-rehab plan!

“She detoxed from marijuana while in treatment in which she admittedly used as a crutch for her anxiety,” an insider close to Lowell and her husband Tyler Baltierra told RadarOnline.com. “She’s sober from alcohol too!

Lowell’s marijuana use has often been featured on the MTV series.

Lowell, 25, also hopes to lose weight and become healthier while she attends outpatient treatment.

Her husband will continue to be by her side supporting her.

“He said he’s going to be with her every step of the way in terms of her working the steps, staying on top of her therapy sessions and not missing any days of her outpatient treatment,” the insider said. “Tyler will be joining her when it comes to losing weight! He’s admittedly gained a bit of weight over the past year and he’s unhappy with his appearance. He’s been wanting to lose weight for a while now, so they’re making major changes as a family.”

The source added that they are “highly optimistic for 2018.”

Lowell checked into rehab on November 17 after experiencing suicidal thoughts. She left the facility on December 14 to spend time with her family. She soon returned and checked out on December 30th.

Before entering treatment, Lowell exclusively told RadarOnline.com, “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself. On November 17, I thought of every way possible to commit suicide, from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole.”
