Vicki Gunvalson says she owes her Real Housewives of Orange County costars an apology! After Brooks Ayers admitted to "fabricating" his cancer records, the original Bravolebrity admitted she feels "guilty" for getting caught up in the scam, and said she now hates her former lover.
"I hate him, I hate him with everything in me," she told Mario Lopez in an interview for Extra. "And I don't hate people, but I believed him, I trusted him, I defended him, took a bullet for him when people didn't like him."
After months of insisting he was telling the truth about his non-Hodgkins lymphoma treatments, Ayers admitted Wednesday that he had "fabricated" cancer records he presented on the show.
"I'm completely shocked," Gunvalson, 53, said. Not only did she see the supposed bills, she explained, but she even drove him to one alleged appointment at the City of Hope. As RadarOnline.com reported, a spokesperson for the facility recently confirmed Ayers was never a patient.

Gunvalson said Ayers, 48, "was there all morning so how do you think anything other than he's getting chemo? You go to City of Hope because you have cancer, not because you have nothing else to do during the day."
As RHOC fans know, Gunvalson chose to stand by her man even as her castmates urged her to question his motives, causing serious tension with longtime friends Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge.
Now, Gunvalson said she owes them an apology. "I'm embarrassed," she told Lopez. "I want to tell the girls I'm sorry."
But she insisted she is not to blame: "I'm guilty of loving him and believing him. Who hasn't believed someone that you loved? And why would you lie about cancer when I've had three friends die of it in the last two years? I had my dearest friend just die of stomach cancer ... It's actually quite sick."
