Bill Cosby Sells His Pricey Art Works After Going To Prison

Bill Cosby and his wife Camille have quietly sold a multi-million dollar painting, Page Six has reported.

But RadarOnline.com told you first about the disgraced comedian's need to pay his high-priced attorneys who defended him in his sickening sexual assault case.

Cosby and Camille unloaded a work entitled "Going West," by famed American regionalist painter Thomas Hart Benton earlier this year, according to reports.

Also, according to Bloomberg, the Cosbys pledged a second Benton painting, "The Instruction," as collateral for a loan from a finance firm specializing in art.

Although the price they received hasn't yet been discovered, the estimated value of the Benton paintings are a staggering $12-14 million dollars.

"Going West" is now up for sale at Morse's Granary Gallery on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, according to Bloomberg.

RadarOnline.com already reported last year that Cosby was peddling his African art collection and other assets in a desperate rush to get liquid, sources said.

According to an insider, Cosby was buried under a $40 million mountain of legal bills and IOUs — and now, the tally is likely more.

The source noted at the time, "Cash-wise, Bill might have about $1 million."

However, the insider swore that Cosby will never sell his beloved private plane.
