Bethenny Frankel Dated Meghan Markle's Ex-Husband, Now Works With Him On TV Show!

Bethenny Frankel just admitted she dated Meghan Markle's ex-husband, Trevor Engelson — and is now working with him!

The Real Housewives Of New York City star spoke to Australia breakfast radio program Kyle and Jackie O this Monday, April 9, to say she and the American film producer are even working on a show together! While she claimed "there is a little sizzle there," she also stated their relationship is strictly professional now.

"He lives in Los Angeles, and I live in New York," Frankel, 47, said of her relationship with Engelson, 41. "We haven't slept together, we haven't hooked up... I don't know, I haven't thought about it."

"He looks a little like my ex which scares me," she added. "We bypassed the romantics and went into the business."

As RadarOnline.com has learned, Frankel — who is currently dating Dennis Shields — met Engelson in Chicago as a "romantic interest," and the two began texting. He told her he was divorced and was once "married to this girl called Meghan Markle, from the TV show, Suits. I said, 'Oh okay.'"

"So six months later, I'm like, "Holy s**t, your ex is going to be a princess! Is that crazy?" recalled Frankel.

RadarOnline.com readers know Markle was recently blasted for allegedly dumping ex-husband Engelson "out of the blue" after she reached Hollywood fame. They were married for two years and he was reportedly left completely heartbroken while the former actress reveled in her Suits spotlight.

The Skinny Girl mogul claimed that after Markle, 36, and Prince Harry's surprise royal engagement, furious Engelson "pitched me a TV show idea to produce together, about a bunch of businesswomen, which I think we are going to do together."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Engelson is also working on a show based on Markle's life — in which the main character is an American girl who moves to London to marry a royal.

"There is something there. Something salacious about doing a TV project with Meghan Markle's ex. I like it, there is a little sizzle there," Bethenny Frankel admitted. "I can make chicken salad out of that chicken s**t for sure," she added, alluding to Markle's story in which she claimed she was cooking chicken when Harry, 33, proposed.
