Andy Dick Charged With Sexual Battery After Allegedly Groping Stranger In Public
Andy Dick is under fire, again.
RadarOnline.com can confirm the troubled comedian was accused of groping a stranger while on a public street in Los Angeles.
A spokesman for the L.A. City Attorney's Office, Frank Mateljan III, told RadarOnline.com that Dick, 52, was charged with "sexual battery" and "simple battery."
He will appear in court for an arraignment on July 18.
According to a report, the female accuser claimed Dick "squeezed her butt twice as he walked past her on a sidewalk back in April. She also said he made lewd comments."
He has yet to address the claims, though in April, he told fans that he was heading to rehab.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the controversial funnyman has previously suffered from alcohol and drug abuse, and often been bashed for his sexually inappropriate actions. His wild boozing even earned him a five-year restraining order from wife Lena Sved.
In 2017, he was fired from an independent film after he was accused of "groping people's genitals, unwanted kissing/licking and sexual propositions of at least four members of the production." Though he denied the groping, he admitted he might've licked and kissed somebody on the cheek. "That's my thing–I licked Carrie Fisher at a roast. It's me being funny," he said at the time.
