Amy Roloff Throws Engagement Party For Black Sheep Son Jacob And Fiancee Isabel
April 21 2018, Updated 10:17 p.m. ET
Amy Roloff is throwing an engagement party for her black sheep son Jacob and his fiancée Isabel Rock Garreton this weekend. The Little People, Big World mom told fans in an Instagram caption, while promoting her baking line Amy's Little Kitchen, "We’ll be having a party Sunday to celebrate Jacob and Isabel’s engagement. Woohoo!"
There was no word if Amy's ex-husband Matt is showing up, but while the two have a strained relationship, they've been able to mingle at family events. Amy and her boyfriend Chris Marek recently returned home after a romantic Caribbean cruise vacation.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Jacob announced his engagement to Isabel in Iceland in January after keeping the news secret for more than a month. The Roloff rebel son, 21, announced on Instagram on Saturday, Jan. 27, that he had popped the question to Isabel last year, on Christmas, Dec. 25.
Jacob, a non-little person son of Amy and her ex-husband Matt, shared a photo of himself carrying Rock on his back. As a caption, he wrote, "…we got ENGAGED! It happened in Iceland on the frozen pond, Tjörnin, late on Christmas. So much love for this beautiful soul @izzysofia. Here’s to many more Christmas’, you n me."
Jacob and Isabel have spent lots of time traveling together, and as RadarOnline.com readers know, he has gone his own way when it comes to his famous reality TV family.
Although Jacob mended fences with his parents and siblings two years ago after a brief estrangement, he recently unfollowed his brother Jeremy’s Christian marriage blogger wife, Audrey.
While Amy, Matt and especially Jeremy and Audrey are strict Christians, Jacob considers himself to be agnostic.
But earlier this year, Jacob’s fiancée took to Instagram with a picture of herself posing happily with Audrey -- and also Tori, who is married to Zach Roloff. It showed Jacob and Isabel's union might be mending the family feud.
Jacob left the LPBW show in 2014, later explaining he felt "isolated" and "angry" for being pushed into reality TV fame at a young age. He has also slammed Little People, Big World as scripted and fake.
But Jacob and fiancée Isabel have been on top of the world since their engagement, with the beauty gushing on Instagram, next to a photo of the Roloff son hugging her, "I love him, that's all."
