Jacob Roloff Announces Engagement To Girlfriend Isabel Rock Garreton
Jacob Roloff, the reality TV family son who's always followed the beat of his own drummer, got engaged to girlfriend Isabel Rock Sophia Garreton—more than a month ago!
The Little People, Big World star, just 21, announced on Instagram on Saturday, Jan. 27, that he popped the question to Garreton on Christmas, Dec. 25.
Jacob, the non-little person son of Matt and Amy Roloff, shared a photo of himself carrying Rock on his back. As a caption, he wrote, "...we got ENGAGED! It happened in Iceland on the frozen pond, Tjörnin, late on Christmas. So much love for this beautiful soul @izzysofia_ . Here’s to many more Christmas’, you n me."
But Rock had spilled the beans first on Saturday, writing on her Instagram account, "We are finally ready to share with everyone... WE ARE ENGAGED!!!" Fans congratulated the two in their comments sections. Jacob also shared a photo of them standing in front of what was apparently a guest house door in Iceland and wrote, "a few moments and a short walk before…." –and then another photo of Rock wiping tears away amid the beautiful scenery in the Scandinavian county. "A a few moments and a brief conversation later..." he wrote on Instagram, then shared the actual engagement news!
After that, Jacob posted another Instagram picture of the two of them and wrote, " Then, after a delicious dinner and thinking the night couldn’t possibly get any better, we saw the Northern Lights together and took our first pictures as fiancé and fiancée...."
An exuberant Jacob ended his Instagram story by gushing on another picture of himself with arms raised in front of the Northern Lights of Iceland.
He wrote, "And the night after all of that, we saw them again not 20 feet from the front door of our guesthouse, even brighter and reeeally dancing this time. It’s still sort of settling with us how magical a place Iceland was. So many times all we could do is look at each other wordless. Excited for a lifetime filled with travel, growing together and trying new things with you @izzysofia."

Although Jacob mended fences with his parents and siblings two years ago after a brief estrangement, he recently unfollowed his brother Jeremy's Christian marriage blogger wife, Audrey. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jacob left the show in 2014 after later explaining he felt “isolated” and “angry” for being pushed into reality TV fame at a young age.
Jacob, who is now on good terms with his divorced parents Matt and Amy, recalled the most difficult years of feuding in his memoir, Verbing. He admitted rebelling against his family.
"I remember at that time, I was causing strife….I said inflammatory things," he told fans on web series, Rock & Roloff Road Trip. "Even as I said those things, I would admit that in about a year, I’d probably regret some of this."
Although Jacob left Little People, Big World, he and longtime galpal Garreton, who love to travel, launched the web series together.
"We’re really excited to share what being on the road feels like to us," Isabel said in the first episode. "Our perspective of road life, waking up somewhere new every day, and sleeping in the truck.
"We choose to live like this because we love it so much."
Now, the whole world knows that the freewheeling lovebirds will soon live as husband and wife!
